What can southern Spain offer me?

The Costa del Sol is the stretch that we in Danish refer to as the ‘Sun Coast’. The coastline is located in southern Spain, only 3 hours and 30 minutes by plane from Copenhagen. The coast stretches approx. 150 km from Malaga, the capital of the Costa del Sol, with a population of more than 500,000 inhabitants, to the west of Sotogrande. The town of Sotogrande is one of the most exclusive areas on the coast, with a population of around 2,200 inhabitants. Here it’s common to play polo and surf. All areas on the coast of southern Spain have their very own characteristics. Of course, we help you find the right area for you that exactly matches your interests and the way you want to spend your time.

The coastline primarily consists of beaches, which are used by locals and tourists almost all year round. With more than 320 days of sunshine a year, the Costa del Sol has the best climate in Europe, with average temperatures of 26 degrees Celsius in August and 18 degrees Celsius in January. Especially spring and autumn in southern Spain are like a Danish summer—absolutely fantastic!

The Costa del Sol offers a wealth of activities. Everything from surfing and polo to golf, racing, and paddle tennis. And as one of the only places in the world, it’s possible to ski in the period December–March, only 2 hours from the coast, at the ski resort ‘Sierra Nevada’. The other direction, approx. 100 km from Malaga, sees the fantastic city of Ronda, where it’s possible to go on wine routes and taste the local wines. The beautiful city contains a lot of history, and here you have the opportunity to see bullrings from the 18th century and other fantastic sights.

The gastronomy of Spain is among the best in the world. The old town of Marbella offers authentic tapas, with fantastic wines. Between Marbella and Puerto Banus, at the exclusive Beach Resort ‘Puente Romano’, you will find exclusive Michelin restaurants, and there are fantastic restaurants and beach bars along the entire coast. At Puente Romano lies the Nobu hotel, where we have our local office on the coast.

The border we represent runs along the urban areas of Spain along the entire Spanish Mediterranean coast, and up to 15 km inland. In addition to the sale of new buildings on this large stretch of coast, we naturally also sell used houses and apartments in the same areas.

In addition to the Sun Coast, Jackie Phillip & Co. Real Estate also cover Mallorca. We currently have over 150 homes for sale in Mallorca. It’s only a 3 hour flight from Copenhagen, after which you land on the beautiful island of sunshine. Mallorca is one of the places in Europe with the most amazing beaches and beautiful turquoise waters. Mallorca is known for its beautiful landscapes, its coasts with impressive cliffs, and stunning caves. Palma de Mallorca is the capital of the Spanish autonomous region of the Balearic Islands, and is the largest city in Mallorca, with a population of around 500,000. Palma offers beaches, ancient sights, city life, shopping, great gastronomy, and much more.

Mallorca is magical and without comparison. We are experiencing great demand for precisely city apartments in Palma or a finca (country houses). Our team of real estate agents, business partners, and our Spanish lawyer, will jointly guide you safely through a real estate transaction on the paradise island of Mallorca.

We find the right property for you, get the right price negotiated, and get the deal completed professionally and safely without surprises. The service you receive from Jackie Phillip & Co. Real Estate is free for you.
